Make Time

Not having enough time is not a good enough reason to get rid of your bunny.

It’s an unpopular opinion, but with surrender requests rising due to “time constraints,” it’s an opinion we share.

We understand that time is one of the most valuable commodities and pretty much everyone has a packed schedule.

It's important to remember that although our lives may get busy, your buns entire world revolves around you. Their owner.

While it might feel overwhelming to juggle responsibilities, giving up your pet rabbit due to time constraints is rarely the best solution.

You decided to get a bunny, you have to decide if you’re willing to make it work or not.

Rabbits form strong bonds with their owners. They'd choose your presence over a shelter or another family any day. Your love, even amidst a hectic schedule, means more to them than you might realize. They know you and they love you.

Before considering surrendering your rabbit due to time constraints, explore alternative solutions.

Some are as follows:

- consider enriching their enclosure

- getting them a bondmate

- asking friends/family to spend some time with them

- intentionally carve out a small bit of time each day solely to love on your bunny

Small adjustments can make a big difference.

Remember, you are your bunnies entire world. Their entire lives revolve around you. You made the decision to get them, so it’s your responsibility to take good care of them.
