Flopping

When bunnies feel safe, they flop.

Basically they throw themselves onto their sides. It’s like they’re being body-slammed, except the buns are doing it to themselves and on purpose.

Lots of first time bunny owners think that their rabbit is sick or fainting when this happens, but really they’re just expressing their contentment.

Flopping is just one of many ways that rabbits express happiness. Ghostbun, pictured, became a flopping machine after being rescued and adopted!
